The site address will appear on the business card and advertisements. It will be entered in the address bar. It is desirable that the name be short and easy to remember, so that it can be dictated over the phone and recorded by ear.
There are also names like www.thelongestdomainnameintheworldandthensomeandthensomemoreandmore.com. Perhaps an unusual advertisement can be made on this, but it is better to use a 6-8 symbol name as the main address.
If you are lucky and your area does not have a domain name with a word or phrase related to your product or service, feel free to register it. Book.ru, design.ru, job.ru, travel.ru – the owners of such sites managed to take good names or bought them for a lot of money.
You can use prefixes. For example, onlineshop, myshop, shopsite, theshop, allshop, bestshop. This method must be used with caution. If the names of your competitors’ sites are similar to each other, then potential customers simply won’t remember where they found the information they need – on siteshop or on shopbestsite.
